Yahoo MEME : Newly launched Micro Blogging Website
Yahoo has silently launched Yahoo Meme 
which is a Twitter like micro blogging website with more or less additional features.
Yahoo had quietly launched its microblogging product Yahoo Meme 
, in Spanish also previously launched a Portuguese language micro-blogging product, Yahoo Meme, that drew similarities to Twitter and Tumblr .
Yahoo MEME offers you a clean looking Interface like Twitter but comes along with few additional features which Twitter fans have always been looking for.A “meme” is commonly known in the web as some kind of content that spreads fast and draws everyone’s attention.
Quick Features :- Things have to be quick , easy and simple to do
- You should be able to share whatever kind of content you publish or find in the web
- Your posts should get around without you having to be a part of any specific social network
- You keep the credit for your discoveries and creations
- You should easily find what’s drawing everyone else’s attention

follow them, with updates from these users appearing in your stream.
You can also ‘Repost’ anyone’s entry, similar to the ‘Reblog’ feature that’s integrated into Tumblr.
All you can add to your blog – apart from the content – is a title, a 100-character description and an avatar. You can also create a comment thread underneath the content you post, which was a feature that was missing when we reviewed Yahoo Meme previously.Yahoo also recently launched Yahoo Know Your Mojo, a site that claims to tell you what kind of “social mojo” you possess by analyzing your Tweets, but actually it just shows big ugly filthy worse pipeline moving which looks that it will never stop which displays something which i didnt got !
Yahoo hasn’t had the luck even with social networks recently, with its Indian social network, SpotM, shutting its doors shortly after its launch ,closing of yahoo 360 and yahoo briefcase !
- Yahoo meme seems to be a strong new rival
to twitter in future because of its Image , videomp3features. - In MeMe you will get 2000 character to share but in twitter you will get only 20 character.
- Meme is a micro blogging start up from Yahoo which is in alpha phase and people can register on the basis of invitation only
- But if anyone has already an account , they can invite upto 7 email idz !
just go to http://meme.yahoo.com/home/ in this page you will see the option “i want in” in the enter your email id they will send invitation mail within 2 days !

Now this service is not invite based , everyone can register ! :D

yahoo meme sounds to be pretty good but they should have kept the account creation option easy. It takes 2 days for the invitation. :(
it took them 1 week to send me invitation , but still interface is awesome , its indeed a serious threat to twitter :P ,its becoming popular although not released publicly !
It will be interesting to see if Yahoo can score with any of it's new attempts. It seem like they have been snakebit with their releases over the last five years.

I think Yahoo really are starting to get desperate with what is an obvious attempt to steal Twitters thunder.
Never really been big on Twitter anyways so I don't think I will be using this, even if I were to get invited..

Great move for Yahoo. With Google dominating the search engines, and now getting into things like mobile (Google Voice), Yahoo is smart to start branching out into other areas of online activity.
It is the great invention by Yahoo. I have seen this site, it conatains some additional features than twitter. I like it.
Sounds like a good social media interaction. I hope it is better than twitter. Micro blogging media is blooming right now. With Yahoo Meme joining in we will surely have a new place to interact.

No, I have no time or pacience to wait for your authorization...
I don't like any of these micro blogging platforms...I'm happy with my personal blog hosted on a paid server and I dont use WP also..I handwrite my codes in css div to give my blog the look which I want.

Sounds to be pretty good but it will take time for the users to get used to it.

When I heard about Yahoo! Meme and looked its website, in brief I was thinking about tumblelog Seriously, I could'nt find any new features, compated to similar service like Tumblr.

I think this is a good service from Yahoo. But I visited this site one day, and it was down! Haven't got as much users as Twitter, and yet it went down. Come on now, Yahoo...
